Prince George and Princess Charlotte joined their parents William and Kate for their second appearance in a jam-packed Jubilee day.
The young royals sat alongside the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to watch the star-studded BBC Party at the Palace concert, which took place outside of Buckingham Palace. The Cambridges were photographed enjoying the show, wearing big smiles and even singing along with some famous musicians.
For the event, Charlotte wore an all-red outfit, while George coordinated with his father in a dark navy suit and blue tie.
Though Queen Elizabeth did not attend the event, opting to watch the celebration on television from Windsor Castle, the monarch did appear in the show. A pre-recorded skit featuring the monarch and the iconic children’s character Paddington Bear was shown ahead of the opening act Queen + Adam Lambert, with the pair even clinking their spoons to the beat of “We Will Rock You.”
Other royal family members attending the show included Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall; Princess Anne and Sir Timothy Laurence; Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex with their children Lady Louise and James, Viscount Severn; Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi; Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank; Peter Phillips and his daughters; Zara and Mike Tindall; the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester; the Duke of Kent; Prince Michael and Princess Michael of Kent; and Sarah Chatto and her family.
The monumental event included performances by stars including Elton John, Alicia Keys, Hans Zimmer, Duran Duran, Andrea Bocelli and the casts of several British musicals. Images of the performers were displayed on the exterior of Buckingham Palace, as well as photos of the queen throughout her reign. The event ended with moving speeches speeches by Prince William and Prince Charles, as well as a performance by Diana Ross.
